Be the Coach that Creates Champions
Develop a program that aligns with your values, creates better people and earns results that make you proud.
As a coach, you should be building your legacy, winning in the arena and optimizing the student-athlete experience.
But if you are like most coaches I know, you're stuck trying fulfill the expectations of every stakeholder. You're pulled between the goals of the school, the desires of the students, and your own personal ambitions as a coach. You're expected to win but you are locked in a losing strategy.

Do these thoughts plague your week?
Immense pressure to win
Fear of people’s opinions
Forced to adapt the ever-changing needs of student-athletes
Expected to build a roster that can win conference titles, compete on a national stage and succeed in the classroom
Anxious about the team's trajectory and performance
Overwhelmed with the instituational legacy
Swamped in the bureaucracy and unspoken rules
Letting yourself, your family and your friends down
Questioning if the team, the administrators and the alumni even trust you
Caught in the middle between powerful donors that want it done their way
You're wondering if you can actually do this. Constantly second guessing everything, which feels like you are confirming the perceived suspicions of everyone around you.
I know how you feel because I've been where you are. I've tried to carry on what's been done before. I've tried to copy other people. I've tried to do it the "right way." But nothing worked until I learned that I could trust myself. That my experience mattered. I realized that I needed to do the hard work that no one gives you credit for, to achieve what everyone wants to achieve.
After more than two decades of leading my teams out of this funk and into a connected, winning culture, I created a process that Can be applied to any coach and any team that is struggling with these same issues.
The Engage Performance Coaching Method ADDRESSES THESE AREAS:
The COACH
You focus on developing your awarness to tap into your energy, foster your sense of belonging and do the work that builds your confidence.
THE TEAM ENVIRONMENT
You determine the actions and behaviors that need to be taught and the methods empowers your student-athletes through empathy
THE PERFORMANCE
You gift your student-athletes the freedom to explore their abilities and have the grit to ensure that the processes result in the ultimate outcomes.

When you follow this process, you can expect long-lasting, impactful results like:
- Your athletes and staff have a co-created space to thrive-in.
- Every member of your program feels like they are moving towards the same common goal, they have access to all the tools and resources that the organization has to offer, and each individual feels like they own a piece of the jersey they are playing in — it's not just on loan to them.
- The impact you make on the athletes is so profound and embedded into their character that they perpetuate that impact into the world, leaving a legacy that creates a ripple-effect for generations.
- You will live your values and create a culture that allows curiosity, progress and growth -- this leads to the wins.
- The values-based culture that you create is what drives the progress and growth of the individuals in your program, which results in more successes, achievements, and awards.
- Your ability to overcome obstacles and achieve greatness is no longer a matter of "if" it's a matter of "when."
- You accept that you have good instincts and that you belong as a leader of a great program.
- Your own confidence and expectation for your program to succeed now exceeds the previous expectations from the school, students and alumni that you once feared.

Neil Chatterji
A few years ago, I was excited to build a coaching legacy but felt immense pressure to win, build a strong team, and exceed expectations. I struggled with school politics, team uncertainty, and self-doubt. Often, I felt like I didn't belong and had to hide my true self and values.
I created the Engage Performance Coaching Method because I never felt like I truly belonged. I was trying to fit in by presenting only a curated version of myself, suppressing my values and the lessons from my multicultural background. The constant pressure to meet everyone else’s expectations left me feeling crushed. I wasn’t being true to my instincts, my abilities, and my genuine self.
Over the last two decades, I’ve seen the transformative impact of building a connected, winning culture. Trusting in myself and my experience led to the development of this method, designed to help any coach and team facing similar challenges. This program empowers coaches to create dynamic and winning team cultures rooted in community and belonging.
I invite you to jump on a call and discuss your coaching dreams and obstacles. This is your opportunity to talk to someone who can really listen and ask the questions that help you believe in your instincts and trust yourself to perform under pressure.
Together, we can build your coaching legacy.
I would love to be a part of your journey and guide you through my Coach Development Program. This program works with you to build your personal foundation; creates your frameworks for accountability and connectedness; then builds your ability to empower your athletes to put your team into a position where pressure is a privilege.
Let’s discuss the coach you want to be and start to map our your unique way to Cultivate Champions.
